Favorite jewelry era: I’m torn between the whimsy of Art Nouveau and the classic lines of Art Deco. They both appeal to different sides of my personality.
Most cherished personal piece of jewelry/horology: A gold filigree pinkie ring set with a 3-carat garnet that belonged to my grandmother. She passed before I was born, but we share a birthstone, so my mother thought I should have it.
If money were no object, which iconic jewel/watch would you like to own: Empress Joséphine Bonaparte’s tiara, simply for the historical factor. I think it would be really cool to wear the same headpiece she sported more than two centuries ago.
