The family company is set to dazzle connoisseurs with its new collection of handcrafted jewels that showcase its trademarked colored stones.

A red-carpet favorite, Le Vian has expanded its high-jewelry offering with the largest collection to date. Featuring the brand’s trademarked colored diamonds and rare gemstones, such as the Peacock Aquaprase, the pieces were handcrafted in the US. They exude a timeless glamour and opulence the family company’s CEO, Eddie LeVian, feels sure will appeal to American luxury-jewelry collectors.

Why is it important that this collection has been created by US-based craftspeople?
These are craftsmen who are at the highest level of craftsmanship, making the highest levels of handcrafted high-jewelry perfection.

Can you tell us more about the making of a hero piece?
For example, the Mikaela bracelet started with the idea to match dozens of cushion-cut certified Sunny Yellow Diamonds into a multi-row diamond bracelet. Then the design team made several iterations of sketches before we arrived at the design, and then there was a close collaboration with the craftsman on how to interpret and refine the design. It then took months of painstaking hand workmanship to create this masterful one-of-a-kind natural yellow diamond bracelet out of handwrought and hand-set sections of platinum into a smooth, stunning, and timeless creation.

Why do you think high-end consumers are attracted to yellow diamonds?
Natural fancy-color yellow diamonds are part of the rarefied world of natural-color diamonds. Their sunny color symbolizes the positivity that we all strive for, which Le Vian forecasted as the leading emotion that is driving jewelry sales in 2022.

In which way are you featuring Aquaprase in these high-jewelry creations?
The Aquaprase gemstones that made it to the high-jewelry collection of Le Vian are some of the one-of-a-kind and very finest specimens of patterns and colors of Aquaprase that were found in the mine. For the earrings, finding a pattern and shape that matched was particularly difficult, making them even more of a treasure.

How do you feel this new exclusive collection will appeal to your US collectors and new collectors?
Le Vian’s launch of the 2022 high-jewelry collection has proved very compelling to Le Vian’s well-to-do collectors, who have a deep appreciation of fine gems and diamonds. With this collection, I believe we have created the perfect storm for Le Vian to redefine the high-jewelry experience for the most discerning connoisseurs. We have brought together some of the finest natural fancy-color diamonds and precious and exotic gems in handmade one-of-a-kind designs. What’s more, many of the pieces in the high-jewelry collection are set into Le Vian’s platinum alloy, designed to maximize the strength of platinum, a metal already known for holding diamonds and gemstones more securely than any other precious metal, while platinum’s naturally white color also enhances the color of gemstones. In this collection, Le Vian also teams the top quality and rarity of the Le Vian high-jewelry gems and diamonds with unique cut side diamonds and top-notch hand craftsmanship.
